• I bought this book for a class and so far the information is just fine, however, I rated it as 3 stars because of all the typos! I wouldn't expect a $65 text book to have SO many! I have found misspellings, grammar issues, missing referenced figures, unreadable (fuzzy) figures, missing titles, etc. I'm not sure if this was rushed to print but that's what it seems like.
  I have the paperback version so maybe the electronic (or hard-back if there is one) wouldn't have the same issue with viewing the figures.
• 3 stars because it supplied the information I needed for my course.
  However, whoever edited this book should consider a career change.
  Low resolution figures/charts, misspellings, horrible formatting.
  
  Publisher and editor should be ashamed.
• The book is very well organized with current information. The content makes the book useful as either a textbook or a reference book. It is well written which makes it not only easy to read but interesting to read. For visual learners, the book has simple illustrations which convey a great image for explaining information.
• My expectation of the book before I read it was not as like what I have found. Over all, it's a good book. I expected it to have more detail technical applications and practical skills on how to operate on certain application softwares. It is almost reading and case study posts. The likes of data analysis techniques, procedures or steps should be there. So, it appears that, "Never judge a book by its cover" is true in this case. I am not saying, it's bad, but my expectation was different, now I should go back to "youtube" to find out some steps, procedures, and techniques on how to run reports, run queries, and analyze data. But, thanks for coming up with this update though.
• I like the book. I think it is good enough with details provided.
• HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Electronic Copy, no page numbers, no way to navigate. In my class I have assigned pages to read and I have NO IDEA what pages those are. Extremely disappointed. Do not purchase electronic copy!
• at it again. It beats my school bookstore every time!
