This is a book I couldn’t put down. In true Heather Blanton fashion she has written another page turner that kept me up well after midnight hanging on her every word. Definitely a “Must Read-5 Star- Cover to Cover Story.†A story you'd like to go on forever! - This book is yet another gem in Heather Blanton's collection of wonderful novels. She has proven herself to be excellent in writing Western Christian novels with just the right amount of grit to make in realistic and unique, and then she wrote an absolutely delightful Romance set in WWII which had us holding our breath at the end. But now, she tackles the American Revolution from the amazing viewpoint where the hero is the Christian who fights his own conscience to figure out if revolting and the horrors of war is truly what Christ wanted us to do. Then, he meets a woman that comes out of nowhere to fall in love with. I loved Heather Blanton's first time travel book, In Time for Christmas, and this one was just as great. She manages to capture the way people talked, dressed and lived during the Revolution, and she made it very interesting and exciting about how Liberty was able to go back and forth to that time. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story even if they do not think they like time-travel books.
- Martin is in 1777. Liberty is in 2026. So very far apart - but are they really? Liberty meets Martin. "If it is true, it is beyond my reasoning." To merely learn to trust him. To trust her. To trust God still performed miracles. This is insanity, ... yet the quest for an explanation .. none of this is random or accidental ... ahh therein lies the pleasure of the reading of this book. Once I picked it up - I couldn't put it down till I was finished - the end was not what I expected either.
- I will be honest, time travel books are not my favorite. That said, I will tell you that Heather Blanton is a very talented writer. I have read all her other books available on and enjoyed them very much. The story flowed very nicely between the two time periods and I found it realistic and cute when Liberty would mess up and say a word like 'legit' that is such a common word to us and have to come up with a different word Martin would understand. I urge you to read all the other kindle books by Heather Blanton. With such talent, it's hard to believe they are so low priced!

I loved it it has intrigue, a great romance, a real look at what it was like in colonial America. The time travel was brilliantly done. I loved the Chinese puzzle box and the desk. Heather Blanton is one of my favorite authors. - I felt so close to Liberty, both empathetic and sympathetic, and I feel that's because Heather Blanton is such a good writer. The story should be unbelievable, but it drew me in. I felt the suspense and intrigue right along with the characters. I did see some typos and reported those, so hopefully they will be corrected.
- I am not a big fan of time travel novels, but I am a fan of Heather Blanton. I ordered the book, not sure what to expect, and loved it. She provided the same realistic, engaging and believeable story as in her traditional historical romances. She depitcted the time travel in a believable manner, and I was transported immediately. Well done Heather. I am still a huge fan!!
